Due to the bushfires in the Margaret River region I was forced to bypass the region and travel further to the north, stopping in Busselton briefly for lunch I then decided to head to Bunbury to catch up with my relatives for the festive season.
Bunbury is very familiar to me having visited over 6 times in the past, although on arrival the town has continued to grow and expand in all directions. Getting close to a population of 100,000 for greater Bunbury the town is booming!
Whilst stopped in Bunbury I take stock in my journey to date and start to assess the equipment I have for Delilah (my Jeep), for filming and camping.
Before I head to the far north of WA I plan to make some efficiency decisions and decide if I want to be off the ground or not for sleeping. Join me as I assess the decisions ahead.
I will also be exploring the Bunbury region and wider SW corner of WA from my base in Bunbury until my Citizenship ceremony - after that I head to the (for me) unexplored regions of northern Western Australia.
Over the coming weeks I will also be exploring setting up a Patreon or similar should anyone wish to help support me on my travels - to date I have been spending my every decreasing, hard - earned savings.
I would like to do this travel program full time however it is not easy, especially given the current petrol prices #FuckyouPutin
